# Get access

> Get the credentials and endpoints for your Silmaril deployment.

[Book a call](https://cal.com/silmaril/30min) to arrange a hosted or self-hosted deployment. Silmaril supplies the connection values for your application, gateway, plugins, or Macs.

## Connection values

| Value | Used by | What to enter |
| - | - | - |
| `SILMARIL_API_KEY` | SDKs and gateways | The key supplied for your deployment |
| `SILMARIL_API_URL` | SDKs and framework integrations | The complete classify URL, including `/classify` and any path prefix |
| `SILMARIL_GUARDRAIL_URL` | LiteLLM | The separate guardrail URL supplied for your proxy |
| Dashboard URL | macOS and operators | The supplied dashboard origin |
| Firewall ID | Evidence and managed settings | The deployment identifier supplied by Silmaril |

Model-provider and gateway credentials are configured separately.

## Configure a service

Store the key in your service environment or secret manager. Make Firewall requests from the service that owns model calls or tool execution. Keep credentials out of browser bundles and source control.

Location: local development terminal for your protected service

For production, set the same values through your service's deployment configuration. Use the supplied URL as-is.
